All of these snack options can be bought in bulk, many can be made at home, and snack options cost between .80 cents and $2.20 per serving.

Without Further Ado…Here they are! 

The Top 10 Snack Food Wonders

(in order from breakfasty-lunchy):

1. Greek Yogurt w Chia Seeds

Example: Fage 0% yogurt with 1 tbsp 1 Tbsp Bob’s Red Mill Chia Seeds

2. Apple w 1/2 cup Protein+Fiber Cereal 

Example: Fuji or Gala Apple, and Fiber One Protein Cereal or Kashi Go Lean

3. Plain Oatmeal with One scoop protein powder 

Example: Quaker single-serve plain oatmeal with scoop of Syntha-6 protein powder

4. Two Eggs (hard-boiled travels well) with 1 Peach or Pear

Example: large cage-free brown or white eggs, with either a yellow peach or green pear, depending on what is in season

5. Almonds and Dried Apricots OR Banana 

Example: 15 Trader Joes California Raw Almonds and 5 Trader Joes Turkish Apricots OR one medium banana

6. Think Thin High Protein Bar and 16oz water

Example: There are many flavors of the bar, or you can opt for a different bar: Balance Bar, Zone Perfect, or Quest Bar, or Simply Protein Bar.

7. Edamame and Baby Carrots 

Example: Trader Joes Frozen Edemame in the Pod, 1 serving, with 1/2 cup organic baby carrots

Example: Roll 4 slices Applegate Farms or Boar’s Head organic turkey breast with 3 walnuts and one apple slice, plus spinach if you’d like some greens!
